Bolton Wanderers v Wycombe Wanderers

First home game of the season and it's the watoaow derby. Not an happy fixture for Bolton. The clubs have played each other 4 times and Wycombe have won all 4 to nil. Wycombe who lost to Sunderland in the playoff final like Ipswich last week are one of the promotion favourites. Sam Vokes and Garath McCleary are 2 experienced players to look out for and have also been told we have to look out for Anis Mehmeti who is quite a talented attaching player. If Wycombe have a weakness it's in goal with a rookie keeper Tyla Dickinson having not replaced David Stockdale who left for Sheffield Wednesday. Team news. Same as last week Toal, Sheehan and Isgrove still not available, no new injuries reported. Whatever the result should be a good day. A crowd of over 18000 expected. A chance to see the spruced up stadium, the new outdoor fanzone and pay extra on the bus or to park. Only need your phone or card as no cash required. Hoping for that first win of the season.

EFL Highlights on ITV4

I've tried it twice this season.
Never again, next weekend I'll be watching anything but that show.

Everyone is happy with the performance and the result. who wouldn't be?

Benny as for Fossey, I would dearly like to see him back but I reckon Evatt has made a decision not to follow up on him.

He has Bradley on loan from Liverpool but if he did sign Fossey he would be ours.

When agents and managers get in the way they can influence young players but as I recall Fossey posted a video of his highlights, which sort of signalled that he was putting himself in the frame for other teams to come and get him.

One wonders if he was serious about coming back. If he was wouldn't he have had words with both his manager and agent?

We had an understanding that there was a deal to be done. Then money got in the way of progress.

There's still plenty of time for my old mate Marlon to appear.
It only takes a mistimed tackle or two and we could be scratching around for cover.

Going off yesterday, Bradley will be a marked man from now on.

Here's a 3 goal Cam to brighten the start to your day.
Pop the sound on and make it full screen.

Dapo is also a marked man but if Bradley has the skill, and I think he has, he will still do the job he needs to do.

We just need to hope that there aren't any leg-breaking tackles on either of them.

We go again tomorrow and there are bound to be changes. However, Evatt will want to beat Salford City as we all do.

Team briefing for tomorrow should an easy one.

All IE has to do is say "Play like this" and hit the play button on a video of Saturdays match.

No more listening to the classified results on a tiny transistor radio, or listening to the push button Motorola while sat warming up Anglia after the match.

The BBC has been all downhill since they last made a decent program and ended the world service radio.

I've braved the scorching sun and been to El Banco for ice cream funds.

Not much to do until kick off today, I'm already feeling a bit nonchalant about the cups.
