For those who don't know Alex Jones runs InfoWars which is a laughable platform that peddles nonsense about the deep state and false flag operations.
For years this guy (who makes millions from donations to help him find the "truth") perpetuated the story that the Sandy Hook Massacre was fake, that child crisis actors were used and that it was part of a cover up. The families of the dead children then got death threats for years from his fan as a result. The purpose of this hoax? To back door tighter gun controls. America really does have some preposterous people.
The clips from the trial are brilliant, including a part where his own defence team accidentally sent the contents of his phone to the opposition lawyers and have resulted in proving he has perjured himself
I loath conspiracy theorists. According to various studies they are nearly always borderline sociopaths who are not as intelligent as they think they are.
This could be a landmark case that makes it pretty much black letter law that you can't chat sh!t and that just because you believe it to be true doesn't mean it is.
Anyone been following this? Ever seen InfoWars (it's quite mental)?

Mine is all the Jews taking the day off work for 9/11 although I have a soft spot for the California wildfires being started by frickin laser beams in space from the deep state.

Ha yep. I think the most plausible conspiracy theory would be the 'lets roll' flight actually being shot down by fighter jets knowing it was hijacked and then creating a morale boosting tale about Americans fighting back if you had to believe one.

What was the point of operation northwoods? The point of 911 is easy to understand. The military industrial complex makes huge amounts of money, so do oil companies. They also used it as an excuse for the middleeast wars in syria, libya, iraq, iran.

But 9/11 didn't justify any of those Middle Eastern wars and people knew they were illegal at the time. The US still did them. Look at how blatantly they faked the WMD justification - everybody could see it was nonsense. Iraq had no means to produce them and no ability to launch such a payload.
You really think the same country that went "nuh-uh they do have WMDs" as their justification for Iraq really planned and carried out the 9/11 attacks so flawlessly? Jesus, you have a lot of faith in the US Government.
It's always funny to see how these insane conspiracies were allegedly carried out. Involving secret aircraft, fake flights, fake people, secret bombs, news agencies being told beforehand, thousands of people involved without a shred of evidence left behind or any whistleblowing.
Of course if the CIA actually wanted 9/11 to happen they'd have done it far more simply - fly a couple of guys to Saudi Arabia and pay some jihadists to do it.

That is the biggest thing to me as well. These governments can't even manage a virus outbreak ffs but yet they are supposedly capable of something on the 9/11 scale with millions of moving parts.

I'm not saying the conspiracy is true but I don't see why it can be dismissed with such scorn when we know for sure about stuff like Operation Northwoods. If they'd gone through with Operation Northwoods then it would also be a conspiracy theory, no? I'm sure I've also read about other plans to use planes as missiles that didn't come to fruition.
Another weird thing is how on the day of a lot of terrorist attacks they also just happen to be doing drills mimicking the exact same terrorist attack that's about to happen, so that when the attack happens it is not immediately known whether it's real or the drill. Perhaps terrorists time their attacks to coincide with the drills but that would mean they have inside knowledge or info about when the drill will happen.
Also, there is no way America and its allies would have been able to invade countries so as to gain more financial and economic control of global systems and natural resources and provoke the Arab spring if it wasn't for 9/11. Do people actually believe that these wars are about promoting democracy or saving some suffering population? That's not at the top of the priorities. The overriding priority is money, control of natural resources and therefore wealth and maintaining dominance. Period.
After Vietnam, Desert Storm and many other wars, the people had absolutely no appetite for war. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan would have been vehemently opposed and embarrasingly voted down and annihilated in Washington, so they needed something big to influence public opinion and get the people on board. Exact same blueprint as Operation Northwoods actually, so at the very minimum a reasonable person would conclude that the whole affair is at least a little weird, even if they find the actual conspiracy theory laughable.

I've never watched Alex Jones other than the occasional meme clip, but a car YouTuber I watch was recently caught up in some American right-wing commentator nonsense after he bought an electric truck.
He did a towing test and found the range disappointing, which was fair enough.
But the interpretation from Alex Jones was astonishing. Claiming that the truck never got above 20 mph, whilst showing a clip of the guy driving at 70 mph. Claiming that the problem with the electric truck is that electric motors have no torque therefore can't tow, even though electric motors are all torque.
Just the absolute complete disregard for any sort of accuracy. Not even checking what he was on the screen at the time. It's incomprehensible to me how anyone can take someone like that even remotely seriously. He lies blatantly to their face and they believe it.
How does... I... it... I honestly can't think of the words to describe how much it baffles me.
