Who says we need a striker when we let this fella go out on loan?

So now we know, he is good enough to score against League 1 opposition. Unless he proves otherwise in weeks to come, we can take it that that's his level.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Defender didn’t know whether to close him down or cover the guy out wide, so he had loads of time. Still creamed it though. The goals are bigger and the keepers smaller in league 1 so that must explain it.
Or maybe he plays better when the crowd don’t groan when he comes on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You'd think they'd know better at the Principality Stadium wouldn't you?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wait a second, I don't think they do groan when he turns out for Wales, what is the excuse for his lack of success for them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not making excuses for him. Just think people who don’t get behind our players at matches are counter-productive to both the player and the team.
He’s playing for another team now and you still can’t help having digs at him. Maybe it’s time to move on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are right it is time to move on.
Maybe this should be the last article on the guy under the Leeds banner. Why wasn't this article on the QPR page?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think marschian just wanted to give everyone a last opportunity to throw a few stones. Kind hearted soul he is.

He's like the girlfriend who just dumped you. You wish her well, you just don't want her to be happy with anyone else.

Still a Leeds player, that is why the goal is mentioned.
Now not only is the lad not good enough he also has an attitude problem. Incredible!
This the same Tyler Roberts that never stopped giving 100%. The same Tyler Roberts that stayed on the pitch with a snapped hamstring for 10 minutes. The same Tyler Roberts that was always one of the last off the pitch thanking the fans. The same Tyler Roberts that was named the club’s PFA Community Champion for the 2020/21 and 2021/22 campaign.

I will follow his season and really hope he does well. Think it’s obvious he’s a good lad that has some really good technical abilities. And I’m still fed up of how some Leeds fans treated him and the crap I heard in the ground and saw online. I really hope he proves them all wrong even if it does mean QPR pick him up for a bargain fee.

Spot on faith… I saw the pros and cons of Roberts as a footballer like most objective fans. It’s all about opinions and if people don’t rate him that’s a legitimate view. But the sh*t chucked at him… some of it (not on here) also not football related.
Hope he smashes it at QPR.

Tyler is a good lad, and kebab profiles those elements worthy of praise. Hopefully, none of us doubt that. But football, is a performance sport, where certain levels must be attained, or demotion will ultimately folllow. However, the statistics ondocate that probably he will find his level in the Championship, and no higher. Unsurprisingly that means, as some are predicting, we should expect him to smash it with QPR this season.

No expectation that he will perform wonders from me but i hope he does.
I and others have never said he is a quality Premier League player.
Tyro is/was one of our better younger prospects at the club. Injuries unfortunately held him back. He was bought for a small fee and will likely be sold at a profit - not many players are sold for a profit.
People always harp on about the statistics. He does not score goals. His statistics are massively misleading. The vast majority of his football with Leeds he has played on the wing or attacking midfield. He has not played as an out and out striker that much. His appearances are distorted by large amounts or substitute/substituted appearances.
My main gripe with fans (just like with Costa) is that these players helped contribute to getting us up and out of the Championship after 16 long hard years and instead of being regarded as mini-heroes they are abused. The only exception i have is Kiko due to the racial stuff.
