It would seem both Kessie and Christensen would be able to leave Barca for free if they can’t be registered this weekend. They’re very good players and I’ve actually pushed for us to sign Kessie for a while now. I rate Christensen too and he may well want to play with Eriksen at club level too.
A CB collection of Maguire, Varane, Christensen and Martinez doesn’t actually look too bad compared to the rogues gallery we’ve assembled over the years. And Kessie would instantly improve our midfield.
Let’s hope that the exhausting Barca situation has some kind of benefit for us this window and we can swoop in and pick up some logical bargains.

He’s a good defender. Not liked by many Chelsea fans because of the way he left us. Also seems to get injured every fecking game.
