So it`s Chelsea at the Bridge today

I want to see a performance. No excuse really. Backend of last season, and the start of this season, Spurs look to be much the better of the two sides. So need to see a side willing to take the game to Chelsea on their own patch.

No sitting back, Spurs are so much better when they are on the front foot. A point would usually be a good result, but I really want Spurs to go over their and get a statement win. Go to Stamford Bridge, put a marker down early in the season to say Spurs are now the real deal.

Spurs right now in my opinion have the best front three in British football, so should be showing attacking intent from the start. The defence still is a bit shaky, but if you keep the ball up the other end for the majority, then they should be able to cope when needed.

Of course Spurs still need to respect Chelsea, they do have some decent players, but I get the impression they are not playing as a unit any more, and Spurs need to exploit their weaknesses at the back. Arsenal went over their and won 4-2 just a few months back, and Spurs are better than them, so they should be at least replicating that win.

I am confident, but obviously not to the point of thinking it will be easy. Nevertheless I think 2-0 Spurs will be the result.

I just can’t see past a no score, low score draw here. You have a very good defence against a very good attack and I think they will cancel each other out.

Our left side vs Aspa and Thiago should yield some joy IMO Chilwell is a threat but not the strongest defender. I can see us probing in behind Chilwell and between Aspa and Thiago a lot. Sess and Son making runs in there all game long. Bentancur and Kane to pick them out.

Nah there will be goals, Spurs have a great attack and a not great defence. So whilst I am going for 2-0 would not be surprised to see Spurs concede, especially from a Chelsea set piece.

I reckon Perisic will start today, much more experienced in games like this. Sessignon played well last week, but this is a different kind of game.

I wouldn’t be against that, but the pace of Sess could be useful against their ageing defence.

Yup Sess does have that pace to his advantage.

I don’t think Perisic will have the required fitness level yet to start, can see Sessegnon starting this.

I feel like there'd be no excuse for a loss today unless it's a very closely fought loss where we play well and are a bit unlucky. We have the momentum, we have the squad, we have Chelsea not looking at their best, there should be a great opportunity to take a point or more today.
