Agree it’s a man’s game , loving the aggressive football this season, refs seem to be letting the odd dodgy tackle go

if people want an actual critique of nunez perforance they ought to be more worried that

a) while he found 3 good positions( 2 first half) he completely messed all 3 up.

b) when he ran the channel (and he did 2 or 3 times really well) he then never looked, never tried to hold it up and just hoofed it acorss to nobody.

Thats nt good enough play. he's got the right runs and timing. no question but the horid touch and unwillingness to be on the ball at all is more worrying IMO than what Klopp ought to make very clear is his one and only ever red card.

Given the way palace flopped about and were screaming i have no doubt that anderson was sledging and calling Nunez mum a few names in Spanish.

I just think he needs to calm down a bit. (Obviously after getting a red card).

The whole social media thing, needs to get off that. Taking his shirt off in the community shield etc.

Fair enough he has passion, he wants to do his best and please the fans, players and manager, plus he is only 22, but just tone down the eagerness just a little bit.

I think he will do well for us this season and the future but now he just needs to focus, keep his head down while he’s suspended and get used to the team and city.

Even Haaland who has more pressure on him laughs of misses etc. you need to enjoy the journey. The glory will come eventually if you do things right. Seems to put so much pressure on himself. Was telling that Klopp didn’t even look at him as he walked off.
