great 3 pts today.
but the 3 games so far has proven that we are too passive when in possession...surrending possession easily and not being aggressive when not in possession.
the better teams will punish us if not rectified
Passive

think a key thing that Conte has brought in is fitness and belief. So even when you're not playing well, there already seems to be an inevitability that you will get chances and will score. That's what a top manager brings

A bit of possession wouldn’t go amiss

If you look at Chelsea under Conte, in most games we did not have the possession. It was all about transition. I amnot sure Spurs are going to have loads of control with the ball, but with Conte he is good at getting his teams to control the game without the ball.

I've noticed our team doesn't take risks to move the ball forward if players are out of position for fear of being counter attacked.
Dier seems to reset the ball and wait for players to get into positions then we start again

oh yes? And what about Kulushevski?

I think once Bissouma starts regularly you’ll see more domination of the ball. Bentacur is a decent player and a good signing but what Bissouma brings will mean he drops to the bench. I love Hojberg and while he’s relatively limited on the ball, he is a Conte man through and through. Wish we’d bought him back in 2020

No way will Bentancur be dropped to the bench. I would expect all three to be starting at some point. Definitely need to ditch the three CBs, two in most matches will be fine.

Hmm. I would have gone for Hojberg

Hojbjerg is the problem, he is just not mobile enough or good enough on the ball, he has a great attitude and is a leader on the pitch but ability wise he drags things down.

Very unlikely Conte will ditch 3 CBs.
Bissouma is the key signing that if he comes good will give you more control, mainly because of his ability to win the ball back

I would just like to see Bissouma starting. It seems criminal buying him, and then not playing him. I bet the opposition love it when they see him sitting on the bench.
