Ignoring the prices paid and focusing solely on who we brought in
Casemiro - world class destroyer to help protect the questionable defensive solidarity
Martinez - a tenacious ball playing CB
Eriksen - a creative spark capable of playing the style ETH expects
Malacia - a highly rated young LB, energetic up and down
Antony - another starter for Brazil, young who appears to have all the tools in his kitbag capable of going on to be a great on the right wing
So we ended up with two midfielders, a RW, a LB
Now we are still light at CF but atleast with Antony we can rotate Martial and Rashford at CF which should give us a pacy attack. Casemiro will definitely shore up the midfield, Eriksen should hopefully take some burden off Fernandez, Martinez and Varane already looks a solid partnership.
Overall rating? For me it’s a 7/10
So good or bad window?

Think they resigned Dembele so he'll likely be Raphinha's main competition.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Dembele played on the left to accommodate Raphinha.
One Fati fit, Dembele displaces Raphinha on the right
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Would seem strange that they let his contract run down, brought Raphinha in for £55m and then brought Dembele back to start ahead of him but then Barca are strange at the moment.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Indeed...

The best signing so far has been EtH. He seems to be restoring the dressing room which seemed lost last season.

I don’t think they ‘are’ brilliant, but they were at the Euros. Being defensive helped for sure, but we’ve played defensively with better defenders and none have performed as well in a tournament as that back four did at the Euros. It’s the best defensive performance we’ve ever had.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
England did have a good tournament, but the fact the eventual champions have failed to qualify for two World Cups suggests it might have been a pretty poor quality tournament overall. Germany and France were both sub-par. Portugal were poor. Spain were pretty rubbish, imo, and were a penalty shootout away from the final.
Denmark were about the only bright spark, imo.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And it was basically a home tournament for England, they were favourites for almost all the games. Had the comfort of playing most games at home and even bottled the final in our own backyard, failing to score a single regular time goal in a Euro final at Wembley and paying the price for trying to play ultra defensive football against the kings of ultra defensive football.
Let's see if the the can keep it up in more unfamiliar territory

Maybe, ioag. Though I don’t think Italy’s fack up should detract from their quality in that tournament. But our defence still needs to be judged on its own merits, they performed better than others ever have, despite being inferior to many of their predecessors.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's other factors to account for though. The luck of the draw, quality of opposition especially in final stages, and home advantage are massive factors as well.
IMO some of the predecessors would have been capable of the same results under similar conditions, like the team that lost to Portugal and the team that had that Lampard goal unfairly chalked off against Germany.
Both those Portugal and Germany teams were much better teams than the Italy team that beat England at Wembley.

When's the window end... tomorrow midnight?
Still think we need a striker, unless Ronaldo stays.
Can't wait for it all to be over. So far though, 7.5/10

Scott Parker sacked after only 4 games since getting them promoted
Seems harsh given they have 3 points from their opening 4 games, but they've played Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City already.

Sounds like he’s fallen out with the owner.

Hard to give a mark… I’ll maybe go with 7/10, which is quite high, because I feel pretty relieved about it after the way things were looking when we just had Malacia, Eriksen and Martinez and were in for Rabiot etc. The most important signing on paper is Casemiro - a good midfielder who can protect the defence. How well he will do remains to be seen.
We are short at CF though, and even if all these new signings work and we have a decent season, we will probably be in for a RB and GK next summer as well as an RB.
