Hope he has a reducer or two go in on him in the reverse fixture the caaaant.

No they didn’t. Lots of possession, but they had one clear cut chance and scored it.

Sounds like we dominated for a while and then mentally checked out. Maybe we’d seen all we needed to see?

Didn't think this was the case at all despite Gary "I'm not biased at all towards my former team" Neville bleating on all game. They didn't create many clear cut chances and they were exposed for being awful at the back. First real test for them and they failed. That said plenty more games to come and think there will be a few downs for us while we still get used to ETH so top 4 is pretty open.

Nah we played well, and dominated most of the game. But fair play to you guys, you played well through our midfield at times, and were ruthless with your chances.

I’m not too disheartened by the defeat, it’s frustrating but it shows we’ve still got areas to improve. Pretty good competitive game overall though from both sides.

Didn’t realise their winning run had been so easy tbh, we were their first real test (although I like Palace this season).
