Sorry guys, not an anti Utd view, but come on, how strange are both these awards ??

I am sure you are all used to the constant comments from rival fans about Utd's apparent favoritism by all and sundry running our game, but surely these sort of decisions just fuel the argument ?

MOTM. Ok can't get too concerned, given there was probably not a stand out manager. City win most games anyway, so no real extra achievement from Pep. Arsenal have literally played nobody, apart from yourselves and lost. Spurs are slowly chugging along, but not at award winning levels.

But ......omg, POTM ????? So Rashford scores twice, in a month when Utd played just two games. Sorry guys but that is just unforgettable. I mean Son ( for example ) has received all manner of sla*ging off yet scored more goals than Rashford in 14 minutes !!

Could be wrong, but this sounds like a mini campaign to get your guy back in the limelight with the world cup just around the corner. Looks to me like the people who give these awards out want him to be noticed.
Being honest, how many of you saw that coming, thought it was justified, or can think of a better nomination....within 10 seconds of giving it some thought ?

We had like 3 good chances/near moments to score in last 10 minutes at Leicester and completely screwed them all up or where unlucky with a near Og by them.

Also we absolutely battered Arsenal and if Eriksen and Fernandes both didn’t miss sitters and Fred played an easy ball to Ronaldo it could have been easily 6-1. 3 insanely easy chances we somehow bottled.

Rashford got 2 goals and 2 assists in the 2 games we played and we scored 4 goals so deserving player of the month and you can’t argue with beating the league leaders and and another win away from home so 2 wins out of 2 was as good as Ten Hag could have done.

Ten Hag mainly won it as we beat Arsenal really. When it is judged on like 2 games I reckon beating the side near the top decides the outcomr for manager of the month.

Just looked at the player of the month awards and how did De Gea win it in January 2022 lol. Man Utd had the most expected points in January that month with 6.35. De Gea wins player of the month in most dominant side in January lol.
