Well it already seems like an eon since our home defeat by Vale. A game which in my opinion we chucked away. But it's water under the bridge eh, and we go again on Saturday.
Now, I must admit I like 2 up top so for me I'd play Dobbin again. But who alongside him ??? It might sound a bit strange but I'd go with NML. He's big, awkward, skillful and can hold the ball... and can score goals too.

Equally you might think of Osula or Bart... but who would you go with and why ???

I think there have been a few overharsh comments re Bart. CF is the most difficult position on the pitch even if you are experienced. This lad is what, 19 (?) and was playing under 18s not that long ago so a good loan spell could really help. I am a bit surprised, however, given our lack of CFs.

I'm always hopeful a player can improve, I just think he is a distance off it at the moment. I think he's 20 so plenty of time yet.

Just listened to a brilliant interview with Barks on Rams TV. Really eloquent and full of insights especially underlining that the players felt they were being asked to swap from short, possession based stuff to second-ball press and long ball all the time - hence, for example, the lack of thought and care when going down to 10 men agin PV. He said PW does not want constant press and long ball - more control and street-savvy approach needed. Good stuff.
