Just seen how lucky we are that it’s not head to head record that decides teams tied on the same points, it’s decided on goal difference, goals scored and then Head to head.

For England to be knocked out Wales will have to beat us by 4 goals or win by 3 goals whilst scoring at least 5 against us I.e. 5-2

As terrible as tonight was, I’m sure Southgate will set us up for another 0-0 whilst Iran beat the US 1-0 and end up topping the group

Unfortunately we went down the wrong road after Pochettino, Gooners decided to go with a long term project with Arteta and it seems to be paying off now, much better run and playing good football as well

This “might” be the first season they finish above us in years - and I still think we will catch them.

They have a good young team and will be in and around the top 4 for the next few years you would imagine, but we are 3 or 4 decent defenders away from a better team than them.

I do not see our "defence" keeping out a player like Martinelli . Tell me who you see doing that?
