My partner has always hated football, but over the past couple of years she has mellowed quite a bit.
She did her doctorās training at Manchester University and sort of grew to like United because of players like Sammy McIlroy, Willie Morgan and Gordon Hill who all drank in the local hostelryās at the time.
However she has changed quite a bit in recent years and is now a Spurs fan.
She wears Spurs logo tee shirts and even has a Spurs bobble hat plus her latest acquisition a Spurs hot water bottleš„°
She now watches Spurs matches and has also watched quite a lot of the WC games too. She also weighs in with comments and disconcertingly makes some senseššµāš«š¤£
This is a complete turnaround and I š¤ it is a good thing
Anyone else on here had a similar experience with their other halves ?š„“

yes, my wife started watching spurs games also.
turns out it was a brain clot.
she's fine now and has no need to watch any more spurs games.

Genius, my wife is not a great football follower. She thinks they are all overpaid. She particularly doesn't like the wags.
She knows all the players though, which isn't bad for someone who hasn't been to a game in her life. I think she just likes all the tittle tattle that follows footballers around.
