Chris Wood Loan Extended By 3 Months

It's all in the title really!!

Brilliant news for everyone at the club. Lets hope he can continue this rich vein of form.

Chris Wood
Nikola Zigic
Adam Rooney
Marlon King

Best strikeforce in the league.

Great news, time enough for us to build our own, if we are not able to buy Chris.

Some comparison:
Wood 8 from 11 appearances
Jerome 1 from 7 appearances.

OK Some of Jerome's have been in the Premiership, but not all.

What's really good is when we attack you think -hang on we could score here- something that I'm getting used to very quickly.

Good observation ... I think every tiem we get in the final third we look like we could score. Problem has been ball retention in midfield but signs that CH is getting to grips with this issue, also Ndaw played in a friendly game and scored so hopefully he can bring something once he gets match fit and sharp.

On the Jerome debate, I still feel he could have added something in this league & was sad to see him go, however delighted with the four we have now

i would have liked to see jerome play with houghton as manager rather than negative mcjudas.great news about wood,i hope we can do a permanent deal for him come january, maybe foster and a million quid.kro

I'd rathyer have wood than foster tbh, we are gelling as a team so things can only get better.

I think the reason we look far more likely to score is because we now have wingers who like to attack the ball and run at defenders, also who aren't afraid to have a pop.

Great news about Wood, hes stunned us all with his goals, delighted he's staying for another 3 months.... but for me, our signing of the season has to be Burke. Hasn't had a poor game yet, he looks capable of scoring every game and he loves to run at defenders, hes the bargain of the year.

Good times at Blues

(And to think we were being reminded by our beloved neighbours Wolves that we were in administration and it was the end )

From the bbc website.

"Birmingham have paid an undisclosed loan fee to keep Wood at St Andrew's for the next three months."

Wow check us out!

Splashing the cash indeed!

Unbelievable... Pannu spending money on Blues instead of filtering it into Yeungs bank account!

Well, I'll go to the foot of our stairs...

Paid money to keep Wood? That must be the reason we couldn't afford to sign Parnaby back up.
