What happens in these games plus transfer dealings plus getting and keeping players fit all key components if Bolton want to at least end up in the play offs. Team news. Injuries and illness still digging deep into the squad. Captain and vice captain Santos and Jones(1 weeks)are out so a new captain will be picked. Johnston? Bodvarsson (1 game), Thomason (until march) and Isgrove no update on him. Dempsey is fit enough to sit on the bench. A tough game with a makeshift defence. Toal and Aimson could both play or will evatt go 4 at the back which would make more sense to me with what is available. Let's see how evatt deals with all this.

How can a player be out on loan and return to play in matches.
He trains and play with one team, when he returns to play for the B team it must be like playing with strangers.
What happened to the fast tracking to the 1st team, we've seen an odd cameo in the minor cup games. Does that count as fast tracked.

Another 5 days before we meet Derby County. I expect a challenging game depending on whether we can take the initiative in the opening half of the game and whether or not our players can be more ruthless in front of the goal.
I see Evatt is again saying everything is going well and we are getting better in front of goal. A good win against United's youngsters is fine but not necessarily a pointer that all our woes in front of the goal are over.
Multiple chances against Exeter ended with a 2-0 win when it could have been four or five. I'm reasonably happy with the position that we are in but we need to score more goals and keep it tight at the back if we are to be in with a chance of promotion.
