Just read the whole thread, and whilst there is widespread condemnation by many (and rightly so) at the actions of a single Liverpool fan (it’s a shame that people are still doing the usual ‘it’s all Liverpool fans fault’ thing), I’m amazed to see not one mention of the incident of racist abuse being directed towards the disabled Liverpool fans.

Like the 'inflammatory graffiti' that suddenly appeared on a door at Anfield.

As soon as the 'fantastic Liverpool fans' disgrace themselves, a counter-charge suddenly appears out of nowhere.

Even if there was racial abuse aimed at a disabled Liverpool fan (which I would immediately condemn) GMP are likely to persue it with vigour unlike their Merseyside colleagues.

This article is about the young girl in the stadium - Plenty of other incidents that night including the 53 year old guy who was attacked by a mob of Liverpool fans outside and left for dead.

As I said, if one of our fans is found guilty of racial abuse I'll be the first to condemn it.

Unlike LFC, City really go to town on this kind of thing and if someone's found guilty I hope thay get sent down and a lifetime ban.

At the moment it's hearsay unlike the thrown objects and the assaults outside and I'll treat it as such.

T’was the night before Christmas and all through the house
Nothing was moving except for a Scouse
Who’d gone round the back door and jemmied the lock
With a flat-head screwdriver he kept in his sock

Upstairs they were sleeping so they didn’t know
A thieving Scouse b*****d was sneaking below
He crept to the lounge with his torch in his hand
Staggering slightly ‘cos he was half-canned

He went to the fire where the stockings were hung
And nicked all the sweets that were meant for the young
Then being as quick as a drunk Scouse can be
He rifled the presents piled under the tree

He left all the junk and nicked all the treasure
And p****d on the fire just for good measure
Then, pockets crammed full, the thieving Scouse bum
Slipped out of the house……that belonged to his Mum
