Yesterday's predictable shambles thankfully seems to have sent Sandy off on his winter hibernation......Clouds/silver linings & all that
I'm not sure I could take another delusional 4-0 prediction for the Palace game
Expecting another ugly loss and Conte gone by the weekend
I mentioned it yesterday on the match thread, while I would have no problem with having Poch back (I think there's unfinished business and I think both he & levy know they made mistakes)...., I've been massively impressed with what Kompany has done at Burnely !!! We don't need a Checkbook/ Serial winner manager, give us someone that will get us playing football again, improve what we have and make a few smart signings.
If Poch isn't coming back, let's get a good young up & coming coach with something to prove.... Kompany could a great choice

Isn't, not is (second to last line). Quite a crucial typo

Or is that a double negative? I give up!

The flaw in any argument calling for Conte to be backed is that he won't stay more than another 12 months, so the next manager will have to work with whatever he's left.
It's all very well calling for a long term project with Conte getting the backing he wants but it's pie in the sky
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Under levy I doubt they’ll be any long term projects as the managers will give up quickly and the ones who don’t the fans will give up on them
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're basically describing every manager other than Fergie and Wenger. Everyone has a shelf life. The funny thing is, if Poch had absolutely torn it up with PSG you'd all be calling for his return. It's amazing how you can be flavour of the month and ignored the next. No one took a chance on Howe for ages as his stock was lower after Bournemouth's relegation but he's proved that a good manager will always be a good manager if the right club with the right infrastructure, that suits the way you coach, is in place. Conte is not a bad manager. He just is in charge of a club like Spurs. Our requirements are at odds with his skill set.

No I’ve always wanted poch back never said any differently I just don’t want him yet.
For instance when we sacked Jose some was wanting poch back then I want ETH or potter.

He’s got to be one of the worst posters on the site. A delusional cry baby who filters anyone who disagrees with his own senile thinking.
He’s either very very thick to be constantly forgetting about the state of Spurs defence to make continual stupid predictions or he’s got so old he genuinely has trouble remembering
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is certainly a sensitive soul, fancy being so thin skinned that you go back and change an article/sharticle changing the prediction from a 4-0 win with a hat trick for Kane (haaaaa) to a loss, deleting posts that point out his ridiculous prediction. I think they fact that Haaland is so much better than Kane has finally sent him over the edge. Haaland scoring so many makes Kane look very second best and poor old Sandy just cannot accept it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Haaland ‘so’ much better, you are a facking clueless wum mate. Haaland is a top quality 10 yard striker playing in a team that is levels above where Kane has ever played putting chances on a plate for him all game every game, yet Kane has got 3 golden boots, a WC golden boot and is very much on course to be the PL greatest ever striker, spurs top ever scorer ahead of Greaves and Englands record scorer; not to mention having other attributes like being an outrageous passer (assist maker award) and having superb hold up play.
Idiots like you moan about Sandy’s rhetoric yet come out with equally mindless crap. I will tell you now, Kane is 100% a better all rounder footballer than Haaland and anyone that says otherwise is utterly clueless.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are clearly a clueless fool. Why would City ask Haaland to drop deep like Kane does? Kane does that because the Spurs midfield is hopelessly inept. City have a midfield that Spurs can only dream of, they have nobody of the class of Rodri, Bernardo, Foden and KDB. Haaland does what he is asked to do, score goals, Kane simply isn't as good at that.

At the time I was hoping Poch would come back but I’d have been equally as happy with Potter or ETH. All of them fulfil the requirement of long term project types. I also wasn’t against Howe being given a chance too. Poch is only in my head now as he’s the last of the group available. If we don’t get him it would be a total mystery. The name is kind of irrelevant though. I just want someone with a progressive plan that will build and encourage youth development with an eye for ball control over the passive reactive types like Conte and Jose.

I also understand why you were hesitant on bringing him back so soon given how many of that squad played under him before. We’ve had a big turnover since so, aside from maybe 4 players, it would feel fresh enough.

Really looking forward to the match thread on Wednesday. Head losses galore and the Conte debate will rage on.
Nothing like a good divide between the fans 🤣
I'm Conte in btw but deep down I know his tenure could be coming to an end soon.
Lets get ready to rumble!!
Seriously considering doing a Billy and might bet £10 on a Palace at 11/5.

Haaland does drop back but he does it when there's a lead to protect.
