Like the sound of this Andoni Iraola. Never heard of him, but this is what people who have say.

Played under Bielsa.

Uses a man marking system to press but goes zonal in own half. Which I called for ages ago. All top coaches doing it and couldn’t understand why we dropped all man marking when most sides were drifting towards it in opposition half.

It sounds like he’s also more flexible on build up. Which will mean we are more direct when necessary. But at least he does understand the concept of manipulating the opposition.

Obviously got a great record this season.

De Zerbi has been unbelievable at Brighton. I don’t buy this ‘know the league’ nonsense. It’s the same rules.

He's also played with Jack Harrison, which is an odd connection. My main negative in it is that I can remember him playing, and it would make me feel old if that was true of the Leeds manager.

idea of him becoming our manager. Then I read this
and now I hope he does become the next manager.

I'm glad it's not just me who is warming to the idea of Iraola. Even watched Rayo v Almeria last night.

Just watched the Leeds presser thought he came across very well Michael Skubala given the situation.

I saw an interesting comment on another site about Marsch's departure. Not one single comment from a Leeds player wishing him well for the future. Maybe the silence speaks volumes.
