A bit of fun this morning. All you have to do is name the PL club described below based on the beliefs of that club’s fans.
The fans think:
- The club is always slower than most to identify transfer targets, and makes too many signings too late in transfer windows
- The club renews the contracts of too many average players
- The club is TERRIBLE at getting rid of dead wood from the squad
- The manager makes substitutions too late in games
- The manager makes too many defensive substitutions when his team is leading going into the last quarter of games
- The manager shouldn’t insist on his players playing out from the back all the time
- The manager has favourites who are unquestionably worse than some squad players who never get a game, but who will always be picked regardless of their inferior quality or form
- The manager is too slow to drop underperforming players
- Their team is on the wrong end of most VAR decisions

The answer is that the fans of just about all PL clubs believe at least the majority of the above at any given time, particularly when their team isn’t winning every week.
