Nothing else to add, my head’s mince

Gem’s prediction: 1-1

Not sure that warranted such a defensive response.

Gakpo played on the left for PSV, not as a strike partner. Looks like Silva played on the left of a front three from watching the highlights, which is interesting. Kind of like an inside forward, which will please Wolfie.

Van Nistelrooy certainly isn't afraid to try new systems, and it's pleasing to see that he has ripped up his old one to accommodate Fabio (sorry DJ) as an inverted striker. (sorry wolfie)

In his games over the last year, Gakpo had played 18 times as an attacking left sided midfield player, 14 times as a left sided forward, and 13 times as a central striker. Fabio yesterday played as a left sided forward

Don't think anybody is disputing that Gakpo leaving has self evidently forced RVN into ripping up his old system, and finding innovative ways to accommodate Fabio.

Impressive amount of research going on here.

I think we can all agree that it's a good thing that Fabio is playing well and scoring goals regardless of whether we predicted it would happen or not?

I think he’s up to 14 goals now this season over his two loans. If he had stayed with us and got half that number he would have been our top scorer. A Wolves striker getting goals!

If he can keep his place in the PSV team for the rest of the season then he could easily be reaching 20 for the season which has to be encouraging

Don't know what all this obsession with Fabio is.
Need to wait for him to come back and see if he has learned anything.
All this "If he had scored half what he has on loan" etc
is a waste of time.

The obsession, more like interest, in Fabio is that he’s a Wolves player, and in my opinion a very promising one. Great that he did well at Anderlecht and also now doing the same at one of the top teams in Holland. Wish him well for the rest of the season.

I won’t wet my pants like you if he scores as a sub in the 80 minute in a game that has no relevance to me.
If it was for Wolves then I would be interested.
