Surprised no articles on the absolutely incredible record breaking feat for DDG on top of Uniteds first trophy win in a while, he also broke Peter Schmeichel's clean sheets record of the club.
181 Clean sheets wow what a record. I still remember when SAF signed up and he had a horrible start was even dropped for a while after a few shakey performances. But post SAF he has been by far United's best player season after season.
Well done Dave, take a bow lad you are a true club legend!

Yeah. DDG needs to go. Like top 3 players we need to replace to take the next step. Striker, midfielder and goalkeeper.

Pleased for him. Not the keeper we need if we want to be a side that dominates possession and builds confidently from the back.

A club legend based on his ability, longevity and achievements (clean sheet record and player of year awards)

Definitely a club legend.
Whilst I do get peoples points about his distribution, you just know if we do replace DDG at some stage with a more technical goalkeeper, there's every chance there's a trade off that they possibly aren't as good at making the big saves in key moments.
For me at this moment in time, it's more important to sign a top goalscorer. Weghorst has done a good job with his link up play, but he also showed yesterday (and most other games) that he's not going to be a big goal threat.
Hopefully we can also keep hold of Sabitzer in the summer.

De Gea had a great start. It is a myth he had a horrible start. He was our best player in 11/12 and 12/13 seasons but after that slowly declined.

I wouldn't go that far. I was at his first semi competitive game (Shield against City) and he looked very shakey and nervous. He was targeted from set pieces and crosses in the air a lot to begin with.
Then he became a very very good goalkeeper after bulking up and settling in.
