Gakpo really showed he could relish in the firminio role. Nunez is starting to be a constant problem for teams and still has loads he could improve. Thought both were unreal today. Elliot impressed too.

It was like United did their best to give Liverpool back the belief they've lacked all season. Still wouldn't surprise me if they went and lost their next game but I could also see them going on a run. Some super hard ties coming up though.

It’s been a while, but as a City fan I am actually happy at a Liverpool win. Because it has resulted in daylight at the top as far as a title challenge goes. Two horse race for the title now I feel.

Liverpool getting back to their best and showing they are still capable of destroying teams. United showing that they really aren’t there just yet.

Arsenal’s result yesterday, given the circumstances, well, it just may be their year.

And in a season or two, City may be in the conference!!!

Football is mental. Why we all love it even if we try and tell ourselves otherwise sometimes.

Yeah totally agree. The game (or rather the fans) is irrational. I’ve seen best mates come to blows in the local over it. I once got smacked in the face by my mate when I said it looked like United (who were playing poorly at the time) were playing like they didn’t have pride in wearing the shirt. I thought I was being complimentary towards the standing and reputation of United. He took it differently. I lost a tooth as a result.

To be fair, it was a cracking punch!

To be fair to me, United were playing crap.

To be fair to him, he hit me just after United scored.

To be fair to me, United did end up losing the game!!
