MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
Leeds have won just one of their past 12 league games against Brighton (D2, L9), failing to score in nine of those fixtures.
Brighton are unbeaten in all five of their Premier League meetings with Leeds (W3, D2), conceding just one goal in total.

Leeds United
Victory against Southampton on 25 February in Javi Gracia's first match in charge is Leeds' only win in their last 12 league games (D4, L7).
The White are vying to win consecutive home Premier League home fixtures for just the second time since the start of last season.
Victory would also see Gracia become the first Leeds manager to win his first two top-flight home matches in charge since Jimmy Armfield in October 1974.
They have 22 points after 25 league matches, one point fewer than at the same stage of last season.

Brighton & Hove Albion
Despite having only played 23 Premier League games, Brighton's total of 43 goals is their joint-highest figure in a top-flight season since 1981-82, and only 11 short of the club record set in 1980-81.
A 12th league win of the campaign would equal their highest tally in a Premier League season, set in 2021-22.
The Seagulls have failed to score in just one of their 11 away league matches this season and are unbeaten in their last five top-flight fixtures on the road.
They have registered 136 shots on target in the Premier League this season compared to 75 faced, a difference of 61 - only Manchester City boast a higher positive difference.
Brighton have won all six league games this season against teams currently in the bottom five.
Only three of their last 18 Premier League goals have been netted in the first half.

Not the best record against this lot and difficult to see owt changing anytime soon but We Are Leeds we have the 12th man at Elland Road and if we have a Striker on the pitch we'll take this 3-1 so come on Paddy and Rodders get your shooting boots on ⚽⚽⚽ ( Don't care who scores as long as he wears White )

i’m on holiday. Tried to see the game in 3 sports bars opposite the hotel - none were showing it - all had the rugby 6 nations on. My hubby and I walked up and down the resort trying to find another bar. Eventually we found one that was only one street up from our hotel and they put the match on for us (it was about 8 minutes in). Our match was without commentary and the Everton game was the one we had to listen to. I thought their score was 1-1 at half time (like ours) but when I looked later it was 1-0 to Everton! It was only later when we got back to the hotel that I learnt we were 2nd bottom with the 2 teams around us still to play. We could very well be bottom by the end of this weekend. Leeds never fail to spoil my holidays!
At least it’s warm and sunny here and I intend to forget how perilously close we are to being back in the Championship - at least until the next match!

Maid you have my sympathies. I was on holiday last week and once again Leeds tried (but failed) to ruin it, as they do virtually every weekend. I’m hoping we can turn things around but I’m afraid this team looks worse with every match and survival looks increasingly unlikely. Enjoy your hols!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I’ve just got back to the room, after feeding my face with much more food (and wine) than is good for me, and am reading everyone's comments. Thanks for your good wishes. We all know and understand how each of us is feeling right now. Only the Bielsa 2nd and 3rd years were enjoyable and (almost) worry free. I wish I had made more of them!

It’s because they would then have to admit, they were wrong about them.

^^^^^

Wrong about Bamford? He’s sh 1 te. And a whining
Fckr. Worst kind of team mate. He scored a speculative shot with his right foot - the foot he generally uses to
Stand on. And nothing else. Third highest earner whos
Only here still because he’s tied to Ortas reputation.

And Jack who I like but I’m not enamored with, scored
For both sides today.

I personally hope Orta fcks off end of season, gets hired
By a club with more money than sense, and they let him
Buy Bamford and several others.

If we continue to play Jack, Aaronson and Bamford we are done! Patrick got lucky with that strike today, did little else. Jack scored a beauty but that just about his only decent touch in a while.
Aaronson plays like someone whose boot laces are tied together. We looked much better when the subs were on but too little too late.
Time to stick Gyabi in cos this midfield creates zilch.
Bill turned inside out today, what's the alternative?
We've still got a chance to turn it round but not want to see that starting line up ever again!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just the 2 assists and 1 goal in last 2 games for Jack

Willy gets the nod over Jack all day long. His distribution is v good and he will get us goals. Jack on for the last 20 tops.

So we didn't get the 3 points. We are down. 100%

Very premature when you look at the table.

Without Harrison and Bamford yesterday we lose that game.

They aren’t perfect but they put in a shift. Bamford looked a different player after his goal. Really pleased for him.

Gonto should have started over Summerville I suppose but personally I would have replaced Aaronson and gone with Gnonto and Rod up top after Bamford and Summerville were subbed.

Aaronson was lively as usual but his ability to run down blind alleys and lose the ball is becoming tiresome.

We have to be brave now and play two up top. We have the personnel - so let’s do it.

Because we are not LiVARpool, and Gracia is not Premier League royalty like Klopp.
