This just papers over the odd crack . Had that penalty had gone in , it would have been a very nervy last few minutes. Would have been just typical spurs to concede again .

Forest offered little in the 1st half but definitely had chances in the 2nd half . Against better teams we would have been punished

Southampton away will be a proper test getting 3 points there would a statement again that top 4 is still a possibility. The fact we have played more games than the teams around us means the pressure to get maximum points all that more important

Skipp motm. He’s really settling in now and long may it continue. As a midfielder he’s got a bit of everything, works hard, tackles. Can pass, looks like he’s got s goal in him every now and then, which I don’t think we’ve had a midfielder like this for a very long time.

Skipp was switching play nicely. It's a shame Hojbjerg can't do this we look so much better with one pass switches than pasing back to all 3 CBs to have a touch before it gets to the other side

Agreed - makes you wonder about some of the other sides in the league though - we’re a point off third and we are diabolically poor.

Honestly, the difference Kane has made this season is unreal

The only thing with the Southampton game is that they have Brentford at home midweek after playing United tomorrow - we’re getting a whole week to prepare and that’s usually what Conte likes best.

Got a feeling we’re going to go on a little run - which will be faaacking annoying because if we finish 4th people will be saying “it’s not that bad” yet it really faaacking is from top to bottom this club is rotten at the moment

I thought Richarlison's goal was good.
The "offside" was typical VAR nonsense.

What annoys me the most is that you could see the application and desire from the off today - within 5 mins it was clear there was only going to be one winner in that game as we had turned up with the right attitude.

So where the faaack was that attitude last week against Sheffield United - oh it’s because all any faaacker at our club cares about is qualifying for the CL. It’s absolutely scandalous that the club keep getting away with resting players in these cup competitions - wish the supporters trust would badger the faaack out of Levy to get him to state a desire for domestic cups - bother him to a point where our managers aren’t allowed to rest our best players for those games

It’s often easy to seem to have desire when you have your best squad, and when the opposition is as poorly set up as Forest

All teams rest players in games like that. That's not the issue so much as the team that we are left with when we start resting players. The squad needs upgrading. We need more defensive, attacking and creative depth. Players who have exhausted their time as even being squad players are getting too much game time.
