It's bad timing

He has not been totally successful at Spurs but we have made many more strides in the transfer windows than people give him credit for. His shortcomings have probably been the players he hasn't manage to secure as opposed to those he has.

If you consider the starters for next season then RB LB CB CM RW will all be his signings. We need GK and CB and maybe AM, added to Kane Son Hojlberg. He's been pretty good imo although if he'd got a quality CB in things may have been different. In that respect though I think Conte made it very difficult as he want a particular player and you saw what happened when the club signed a player for him, he didn't play him.

The same person that has always done it, Levy, nothing has changed

The idea of bringing in a DOF was fine but if you're bringing in one whose own philosophy is not in line with yours then why bother? The whole managerial search 2 summers ago was a fiasco and it came about mainly because of Levy and Paratici being at odds with one another. At least we shouldn't have to deal with that this time round.

Let’s not forget the investigation into paratici was underway before levy hired him. Also, in JANUARY, fifa announced they would deal with the ban extension before the end of March. So how is it such a big surprise to levy and why was paratici allowed to post a bizarre update on the clubs website 24 hours before he received a worldwide ban from football

Apparently Levy was warned many times about hiring paratici because of his dealings at juventus. As ever, levy knows best.

What a total charade this club is. Literally the laughing stock of world football right now and ALL of it self inflicted
