You owe us a helping hand in our title bid today! After years of being one of our bogey sides (who can forget that 4-0 Boxing Day humiliation?) it is time to do us a favour.
Southampton are one of the few teams to take points off us this season, drawing 1-1 at St Mary's. They also drew with Spurs and Man Utd this season, and have done the double over Chelsea (fair enough, Chelsea are shiiite so not the biggest of deals).
Southampton also have a decent recent home record against City - a win, a draw and a 1-0 loss in the last 3. City have also lost at St Mary's this season, albeit with a weakened XI in the EFL Cup.
Ainsley, do it for your parent club. Theo, give Arsenal the title you couldn't while an Arsenal player. Bazunu, you beautiful Irish man, have the game of your life. All the ex-City youths, make City pay for not keeping you. James Ward Prowse, today will be a great day to smash Beckhams record.
Today the world is behind the Saints - on this religious weekend it is time for miracles.
Southampton...

The one hope is they get distracted by the CL. Hope Bayern give them two good games but City progress to face Real.

You would say its an away win 99 times out of 100 but add in the fact they have UCL midweek and the pressure that they have to do something this year in that competition given that they've bottled it a number of times in the last few years. Having said that they will probably win, if we do our job then it doesn't matter what they do.

Can't see anything other than a 3 or 4 nil scoreline to City.

Yeah, but if we go on your predictions Arsenal would be bottom with about 2 points.

Can't help but feel City are now in their end game mode where they just pick up win after win.
Hopefully I'm wrong.

Agree with this. Still think Arsenal get the title, hope so

Southampton v Man City is a foregone conclusion in City's favour.
The real miracle would be to get a win at Anfield against Liverpool and the officials/VAR

It was meant to be a foregone conclusion in Citys favour last season when they went into the game on a 12 match winning run...
