Frustrating but still in our hands

It was very much a game of two halves. We were excellent for pretty much the entire first half. They didn't really have an answer to our game. It's all ifs and buts however I do think if we get to halftime two up we go on to win the game. What will really disappoint Arteta is the reaction in the second half. They obviously were going to throw everything forward in the second half and we didn't deal with it. What I think Arteta has to realise if we get into a game like we did in that second half Odegaard doesn't really offer that much. When we have control of the ball high up its a different story. Same with Zinchenko I'm not going to be too critical for the second you have to accept the positives he brings along with the negatives he's not really a defender having said that what disappointed me considering we were in full defensive mode why there wasn't someone behind him to double up.

With regards to Arteta I think he's got to react to the state of the game a bit quicker you could see we were on the back foot, in that situation Tierney's a better choice for that side a more conventional approach may have yielded a better outcome again it's and but's.

We've come away from a place we don't do well with a point which is not the end of the world. Win the next two before City and we can put real pressure on them.
