1. Rodgers Season 1 v Ange Season 1
2. Rodgers Season 2 v Ange Season 2
3. Celtic 5 v 1 Rangers v Celtic 4 v 0 Rangers
I won't get caught up in recentism as the early Rodgers time was outstanding but where Rodgers arguably got weaker it feels as if Ange gets stronger.
1. Rodgers took over a team that was ready to go but needed developed but it was a season that had me on the edge of my seat. We were told that Rangers were going to win the title because they got a lucky cup draw the season before but Rodgers football absolutely blew everyone away. Undefeated in all domestic football and that Rogic goal was pure exhiliration to end the season on a treble.
Ange had to do a complete rebuild so although the signs were there early on it was still hard to watch in the first couple of months. It really came into it's own in the second half of the season and to come from behind in the league to win it was absolutely superb.
In my opinion Rodgers edges this.
2. Rodgers got the treble again so it is hard to criticise but his second season started to show signs of teams learning how to stop us. Our quality still shined through and we had some memorable wins v Rangers. We tried to take on PSG at their own game and go ripped apart and it was a tough watch.
Ange may or may not get a treble but arguably this season has been a step up from the latter half of last season. I love watching us and feel I am on the edge of my seat all of the time. We tried to take on Real Madrid at their game and at times it worked but for some luck and poor finishing. We ultimately lost by a few goals but the reaction to the team after both games tell you everything you need to know about our performances.
Even before the cup is decided I give this season to Ange.
3. 5v1 10th Sept 2016 v 4v0 3rd Sept 2022
de Vries
Lustig Sviatchenko Toure Tierney
Brown Bitton
Forrest Rogic Sinclair
Dembele
Subs: Gordon, Izzaguire, Ciftci, Gamboa, Armstrong, Roberts, McGregor
Hart
Juranovic CCV Starfelt Taylor
O'Riley McGregor Hatate
Abada Kyogo Jota
Subs: Jenz, Giakoumakis, Haksabanovic, Mooy, Turnbull, Siegrist, Maeda, Forrest, Ralston
I really don't know who would win this game
Rodgers Season 3 v Ange Season 3
Let's hope Ange wins this

What part of the team do we need to strengthen for CL?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd say LB, LCB, RW, #9, #10 - not necessarily in that order. Depends heavily on who leaves, who is available in our market and who wants to play in Scotland but these are our weakest links imho - they all do OK and some much improved but:
Taylor - looks like he's blowing out his erse after 5 mins and not strong or dynamic enough.
Starfelt - still mesmerised by balls over the top, can be rash and not dominant enough in the air.
#7 - Abada prob away, Forrest prob done, Hak & Maeda seem preferred on the left?
#9 - as well as Kyogo has done in Scotland he was a main reason we didn't get any more CL points - just need better quality somehow.
#10 - could really do with a focal point that everything goes through. MOR might one day be that but isn't there yet. Calmac, Maeda, Hak, Turnbull, Mooy, Hatate, Iwata can all, in theory, play in there but none as good as MOR who is not good enough yet or we lose too much of them playing out of their more natural position.
I said weeks ago who can go. I feel sorry for Turnbull, Welsh, Forrest, Ralston, Hazard, McCarthy then the guys that are loaned out - Johnston, Otoo, Monty, Kenny, Shaw, Urhoghide - all these guys being kept on a yo-yo string and smoke blown up their @rse cos we need home trained and home developed names for UEFA. Doubtful they'd be here otherwise?
Will be interesting if Ange gives Johnston a shot when he comes back?

On a completely separate note....should Barry Robson get the Aberdeen job?
A tremendous run of results has them pretty comfortable in third after a disastrous spell under a couple of duds. A local lad and fan of the club.
Not sure who could have done better. They'd be crazy not to.

Completely agree. This merry go round of sacking managers at the drop of a hat and then struggling to eventually settle on someone even worse is ridiculous.
What on earth for they think they are going to achieve? Almost like trying to keep up appearances alongside the crazy world that is the EPL

Taylor is the fittest in the squad.

Certainly nothing wrong with Taylors fitness , he probably covers more ground than anyone during the game
Infact i believe that was the case during the 6 Cl games
