starting line up for fridays game;
Given; O'Shea, St Ledger, O'Dea, Ward; Duff, Whelan, Andrews, McGeady; Doyle, Keane
we are playing a team ranked 203rd in the world whose qualifying campaign record so far is played eight, lost eight
we need to win, we know they are going to have ten men behind the ball so why on earth do we need two holding midfielders in whelan and andrews???
is trap looking for a 0-0??
the man has to go.......theres cautious, and theres downright negative.

Hunt, Long, Best, Coleman, McCarthy - all well known at international level for breaking down stubborn 10 men behind the ball defences. Oh hold on, they aren't. It's ok though, they do it at club level. Er, no, hold on, they don't. In fact not one of them play for a team that's particularly renown for dominating possession and breaking the opposition down. But here, let's not resist the chance to have a go at a manager who's won practically everything before a ball has even been kicked.
If only Stan was in charge, he showed the way to deal with these minnows in Cyprus.............

I'm with CP here....not a big fan of Andrews and Whelan but Trap has done this sort of thing a lot in his career and won....still expecting a win today and those players mentioned would be better served coming off the bench as impact subs anyways...
Could be worse?? Imagine having Nigel Worthington as manager and players ignoring his calls....
