Saw a report saying that he will be leaving permanently in the summer. If this is true I would be incredibly disappointed if that was the case and would be a big slap in the face for the regime who have rebuilt the club on the field under the premise that home grown youth will be a key part of the future of the club. On his part he's obviously got a taste of first team football and wants more which is understandable but his representatives should be working with the club to find a solution that means all parties are happy without losing possibly a very good player for the club for many years. On his part he needs to be careful just look at Omari Hutchinson and how that's worked out for him.

Not every youngster will make it at Arsenal and C-Patz has had a tough season at Blackpool. We already have a very young squad, and players like ESR and Vieira aren't getting much game time as it is.

Insert a buy back clause.

Nwaneri might be off too. Can't blame youngsters as with the progress we've made, it's going to be even harder for them to come through. He probably could have got another championship loan but at the same time, maybe committing himself to a club will be seen more favourably then just going somewhere on loan. Good luck to him.

Feel a bit sorry for these youngsters, because the last few years we’ve had quite a few youth players make it to first team. They’ve just missed the boat but as long as they get to have good careers it’s a job well done for both parties.

I agree, that’s what we should aim for, I understand the situation, it’s very difficult because he is unlikely to get into our first eleven in the near future.
