Absolute prime example of the complacency that’s gone through the club this season
I’m just gonna put this here

I get what you’re saying but TB wasn’t calling Rodgers out when we won the FA cup - that’s an absolute fact. It’s easy to turn on a manager who you’ve never really liked when things start going south. We’ve all seen this since last season - we just haven’t been personally obsessed with Rodgers the way he has. The rest of us also aren’t stupid enough to lay every single thing at his door.
Myself and Nuneaton have been calling the board out when it was pretty unfashionable to do so. This grade A cvnt refuses to hear a word said against Top and the board and wants to twist everything to protect the owners

Did you hear Pipes after the match? He was fuming about the performance tonight, and called out the management for not dealing with Brendan last year.

That’s good to hear. Need to dig out a clip of that

Honestly though last nights performance was absolutely pitiful.
When are we going to stop blaming a guy who hasn’t been here for 2 months now and start holding the people are here to account? Namely the players, the new management and the board.
No one can tell me that a bunch of players who aren’t going to renew their contracts next season and have no vested interest in the clubs future are going to fight in a relegation battle. The clubs awful penny pinching Kasper decision is another decisive factor - they’ve practically asset stripped us of leaders and quality players

This guy sums it up perfectly although I don’t agree with his take on Rodgers

Rodgers has a short shelf life at clubs because of his Brent like persona.
Players get sick of him fast.
Leicester's biggest mistake was holding onto him too long compounded by giving the rescue mission to Dean Smith.
For those mistakes they deserve to go where they are heading.

Rodgers isn't a manager than can cope with a club that regresses under their ownership.
When Leicester started selling their best players and bringing in the sort of signings that would've been 5th or 6th choice in previous years, sacking Rodgers would've been a ruthless decision, but it would've been the right decision.

Matt Piper referred to letting Schmeichel leave last summer as a huge mistake. He did say he was useless with crosses it that his presence more tan made up for that.
For the first time I heard a significant section of the crowd from the Union FS section chanting “You’re not fit to wear the shirt”. Not at a particular player but addressed to the whole team (probably not the right term in the circumstances). Anything less like a team is hard to imagine.

As far as the timing of Rodgers’ departure goes, if they had got rid of him after the last international break we might have got Dyche or Vieira. I even suggested Fat Sam but my tongue very much in my cheek. Doesn’t look that stupid now though, does it?

I’d take big Sam over Smith and Shakey.
