With City winning 3rd in the row, and really only Liverpool interrupting their streak in past 6 seasons, does PL not come across as one sided from the outside? Or even a farmers league? This was the accusations made at both Madrid and Barca when Mourinho and Pep were over there. It’s made for Ligue 1 with PSG success, Bayern in Germany(although this season they could actually come 2nd for once). Reality is, the points total those Spanish teams achieved in that era, has also been achieved by both City & Liverpool.
I don’t believe other than Liverpool, any other team can seriously challenge City next season again. I mean we are talking about a team who cheated their way through, and is backed with unprecedented money. But on the other side, it’s not like other clubs can’t compete financially (just look at Chelsea)
I think maybe fans of English football need to check their own top division before pointing fingers at the quality of the leagues abroad.
