I’ll go to my grave wishing we’d bought Jack/Jamie as I think he would have been one of the first names on SAF’s teamsheet in an alternative universe where he managed for 35+ years and been superb at OT.
The guy is surely one of the most likeable guys in football as his non robotic post match interviews and cheeky scamp-like smile just endears you to him. Even if he does play for the noisy neighbours. My social media feed has been full of his piiissed up antics for the past week and he looks like he’s had an awesome time. Annoying it had to be in a City shirt but fair play, he earnt those full kit waaanker shenanigans - unlike alleged City player Kalvin Philips 😒
Anyway, had that been Raheem Sterling doing all that drinking and celebrating do you think the UK tabloid media would have been as forgiving?

The world has gone mad if people are complaining about a lad in his 20s having a bit of a party. PC nonsense. Jack the lad just having a good time like we all did.
Sterling running about getting drunk is an absolute disgrace. Supposed to be a professional and a role model. Setting such a bad example. Us British are meant to be civilised. Our culture needs to be respected if you are going to come here, second generation or not. I am all for people having a good time but this is too far.

Sterling would have been chokeslammed or pile driven by the media. Would have been a massacre of him and maybe even his family.
