Reported that Everton have bid £15-20m.
A good deal for all parties I'd say.
And as an academy player, its all profit as far as FFP are concerned

Even £15m, and thats 15% towards Kane. 👍🏻

Has anyone actually read the bbc article?
‘Everton are interested in signing Manchester United's Anthony Elanga, with the Swedish forward available for transfer for between £15-20m.‘
Says nothing about a bid

Just saw they signed Ashley Young too.
Glad they are taking Elanga off our hands but those are two poor signings for Everton IMO

I actually think Elanga could be a good signing but it may be one that needs time.
Young was decent last but at 38 I don’t see him being a great signing.

I don't see how Elanga gets in ahead of Gray or McNeil personally (although I don't think Dyche has tended to favour the former on the wing).
They are decent additions to the squad I suppose, which would be OK if their first 11 wasn't crap.

No it isn’t. £15m pure profit is the same as a £75m transfer on a 5 year contract, for accounting and amortisation purposes. Not that the Glazers would see it that way.

Young was mainly on RB last season I believe. Coleman is ageing also and had a bad injury so maybe that’s the thinking.

Have to agree. I honestly don’t know what clubs see in some players. Some of them must have phenomenal agents.

From other club’s pov, they’re getting a player who scored against Atletico Madrid in CL knock out round.
That’s £20M.
The one I still don’t understand is Dan James to Leeds
