With all the money being spent in the Saudi Pro League, at what point does the AFC introduce FFP? Asia has a Champions League of its own, but how on earth can clubs from Australia, Japan etc hope to compete when the deck is stacked against them like this?

What concerns me more is the impact on international football. The Saudis will be able to gobble up all of the young talent and get them playing for the Saudi national team in a few years. In 7 or so years time they could be walking the world cup, denying deserved victory to Europe's elite like league A sides France, Italy, Scotland, Spain or Portugal. It doesn't really affect league B sides so understandable that there isn't concern from most on here. But for the big boys it is a worry.

If Mbappe goes to Saudi for 260m earning 14m a week to then sign for Real Madrid for free in 2024 then it might well be the point where I totally give up on football.
It's gone beyond disgusting levels now. It's actually ridiculous.

It’s miles beyond that way before this. Been ruined for ages now. Just a bank game now.

All football below the big money leagues is still fine. You should come join us. You'd probably last about ten minutes before you demand the whole team is sold and £100m midfielders are to be bought. Sometimes football can be crap and it's great! 95% of the matches I've been to over the last few years have been awful. It has been fantastic.

I'd follow Utd in league two if it ever came to it. It's in my blood and family's blood. Nothing will ever stop that.

Been there. Done that. As have a few of us on here.
Were some of the happiest times I have had of been a United supporter. If its in your blood nothing will stop you supporting your team, no matter where you live or where you come from. Circumstances allowing.
I know many Reds from all over the UK away form M/C who would crawl through broken glass to attend games at OT. Every week. Rain or shine. Win or lose. Premier League/Division1 or Division 2.

Especially as you're an openly gay alcholic.

Don't think the club itself would get moved. Just match locations would be more fluid. There could be many United franchises in different countries. So would rotate our games between our many stadiums. Who knows we might even see benefits like our MLS franchise having games at Old Trafford. I am excited

The next evolution is to combine the club with sponsors. Literally we’ve pimoed ourselves out every other way, so maybe Manchester Unilever could become a thing? Other clubs could get in, Man Citibank. Arse-warts-anal cream fc, Aston Villa-Rentals. The sky is the limit.

Ironically Sky is not the limit. Which is what caused all of this in the first place
