Even if they took the wages for a couple of years (the younger players) but were smart enough to invest most of it then came back to Europe for less than half of what they were earning previously they, there kids and grandkids would be set for life

That said how many of them would be smart and mature enough to do that? Not many I'd bet and that would include their agents sadly, might happen but I have my doubts?

Any players in their early/mid 20s would be mad to turn down the sort of money on offer, could play there for a couple of years and still be good enough to come back to the PL or wherever if you wanted. Who knows if this Saudi bubble will burst or just keep getting bigger and bigger.

How many would take £1m a week then take the drop to like 300/400k a week. Not many.

It's and to think that mentality will only get worse I imagine as the Saudi clubs invest more and more each year.

They could spend 50 billion a year on players, as a league, for years and it wouldn't make a dent in their cash reserves. They have trillions. It's only just starting to register in my brain that whether they decide to over take the PL as the world's best league for TV numbers is whether they want to or not.

Fact is football has been about money for a long time but with no ffp it does mean it's upto them how much they want to grow their league, and how fast.

For 80% of top peel players they will get offered life changing money even as millionaires already. It won't be long til even the highest PL earners will be earning less than average Saudi league foreign players.
I'd love to know what the players on 5hit money make of it all, that currently play in them teams 😂
