Not that I care, but some are having a pop at me for criticising Onana for his part in the Lens goal.

Are we really saying that if we concede posession in that area of the pitch, it's reasonable to expect to concede?

I was a big suporter of DGG, but he has gone now. Onana is our GK, and I hope he succeeds. Im sure we will benefit from his kicking, but it has to be said, so far he has conceded at least 2 howlers from poor positioning / decision making.

No other player (Mount included) has escaped criticism, so why is Onana beyond it?

But I'm confused by the rules of engagement here... You've objected to comparison with DDG, but where it suits seem quite happy to draw comparisons

So are we saying if the winger puts the ball in behind the striker when he’s running into the box it’s the strikers fault for not anticipating the wingers mistake?

Onana was where he should have been, you can say he could have got back quicker but it was a first time shot. Dalot was the main culprit for conceding.

GKs are judged differently to outfield players.

A GK can make 1 error and he is at fault. A CF can miss 3 or 4 chances but score 1 and be MOTM

If Onana was anticipating out players remaining posession and heading into the oppositions half, why was he SO far out of his area?

It was an unnecessary gamble that he lost.
