Seems the experts believe Wolves should have been awarded a pen for Onanas flap last night.
Hard to argue really. Any other player takes out a player in the box with zero contact on the ball, and its a pen.
Shame for the GK, as he'd done OK upto then, with a couple of decent saves and a great pass to Garnacho.
We got away with that one

Over to Alex Ferguson on VAR.

Definitely lucky to get the win and favourable decision on the penalty call.
After the ones we didn’t get last season though, I can’t say I will be complaining

Don't get me wrong after I've made a big issue of all this and claimed corruption etc if Leeds get away with something similar on Friday night I'll be tickled pink, like our horrible away kit, we're desperate for any kind of win atm so I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't acknowledge that.
Hopefully for Wolves that decision doesn't cost them too highly and these types of awful VAR and ref decisions even out across the season because from what I saw of them last night, as out of sorts as Man U were, Wolves looked a solid side that should comfortably stay up and Gary O'Neil is proving himself to be a very good young manager, maybe in the Eddie Howe mould.
