If it ain't broke...........

Arteta is fast turning into the tinker man. Tinkering with a winning formula is a recipe for failure. Arteta is beginning to overrate himself. And if he continues with the unnecessary experimentations of playing TP at right back, benching Gabriel M, playing with a more traditional back 4 and forcing Havertz down our throats, he will definitely drop more and more points. And of course the old arsenal will return.

Winning formula? Must’ve missed the winning bit.

Arteta has lost the plot this season with his tinkering, has he had a bust-up with Gabriel?

Is Arteta Havertz’s Dad?

He’s thrown away two points despite us having a nice set of fixtures for the first three games & it could have been even worse…

Why fix something thats not broken

You didn't win shiiiit, so it is broke and needs fixing 😉

On a serious note though, it was your lack of ability to rotate and rest that seemed to cost you last season. I think Arteta is getting slightly ahead of himself. Pep rotates a lot but his squad has been settled for years and are interchangable. You ain't quite there yet.

Yes if it ain't broke don't fix it, but in order to improve and level up, risks also have to be taken, new ideas have to be explored.

So the idea behind "if it aint broke dont fix it" only really makes sense if it is producing desire results at the level we want.... and clearly we are not at the level we want to be yet.

Arteta just needs to find the right balance of exploring his new ideas while maintaining the fundementals of the team that almost got us the title last season.

This. And besides a winning formula can become a losing formula if its not changed while other teams have changed to combat it.

Beginning to think 90% of posters on the Arsenal board don't watch games.

Could say the same about you as you seem to be convinced we dominated 3 games in which we've scraped 2 wins and a draw.

I get the impression most of Guardiola's disciples will do this. Same way all Mourinho's disciples have an @rsehole streak in them

Pep does overthink tactics a lot. Doesn't affect him significantly at City cos he's got so much margin for error, but at a more chaotic club with less of a head start it would be very noticeable.

3 mediocre performances this season! IT IS BROKEN, not sure that Arteta knows how to fix it!
