Michael Oliver....

Incompetent or a corrupt cheat?
What a facking disgrace. He should be demoted at half time, surely the 4th official cannot be as bad? The first ankle breaker of a tackle should have been red, but there is absolutely no excuse for not sending him off for the second.

Also good to see the "if any doubt keep the flag down" is not applied when White is level...

Imagine if Xhaka did that.
Oliver is corrupt. Very corrupt.

White’s positioning worries me.

Don’t like the proposition of Zinny vs Doku

I think with the second he wasn’t positioned to see Kova’s right foot plant into Rice’s right foot. Had the ref been front on instead of side on he would’ve given a yellow.

Think it was the way Oliver was so over the top with the way he said no yellow that made the piiiiss boil more. Made it seem he saw it very clearly.

I don't agree with some who are saying VAR should get involved with calls like that, just think Oliver bottled it.

Quick shout-out to the ref in the Spurs game yesterday, a lot of refs would have missed the dive and a lot more wouldn't have pulled out a second yellow. That was a clear case of a ref being in a good position, seeing an incident clearly and being brave to make the right decision.

Another annoyance I have is when refs officiate "to the occasion". Don't see why a foul in a derby or a top of the table clash should be treated any differently to a foul in a game between someone like Fulham and Brentford. If there is that tolerance in the former then it should be there in the latter.

Yeah he was so adamant it was a collision of bodies

The second yellow for Biss is one of the better decisions we will see all season

Honestly, VAR can get involved with red card decisions. Well a second yellow card is a red card decision, so if there is a clear case for a second yellow that the ref has missed of course they should get involved.

Clear and obvious error? Yes.
Red card situation? Yes, clear second yellow.
Should VAR intervene? Yes.

Also VAR bottled the first foul, should have been a straight red. If Odegaard's studs are planted in the ground at the point of contact that's a potential leg breaker, we're lucky he's not injured and out for a long time.

Remember how the cant could wait to give Martinelli two yellow cards in a single action against Wolves some seasons ago.
If Oliver is our best referee, we are definitely in trouble.

Yeah, mad he gives the benefit of doubt and higher tolerance for 2nd yellow Sunday but back then he couldn't wait to get 2 yellows out. The fact it was a foul throw makes it worse.
