Brave role to take on seeing the evil demon that Saville was.
Hope some idiot doesnt attack Coogan him believing him to be Saville
Saville protected by some of the UK,s most powerful institutions.
Johnny Rotten of the Pistols called him out at the time but got nowhere

I knew a guy at school that went on Jimll fix it.A show in which kids wrote to him asking him to arrange for them to meet with various famous people of the time.

Watched the 1st one, dont intend to watch anymore, shocking acting and presentation thought it was very 3rd rate

Watched it so far. Its very well made (by ITV Studios actually for the BBC).
As somebody who lived through this period it brings it all back home. (When I was a teenager one of the kids who we played footie with on the field every night was selected to appear in the very first Jim'll Fix It ever. However he didnt report back any bad behaviour from Savile. But did show off a signed photo and a Jim'll Fix IT Badge.
Although Coogan does a great job of acting this role, He's a great actor. But all I can see is Alan Partridge doing an impression of Savile. He sounds like him (obviously) but he doesnt look like him apart from wearing a yellow wig which doesnt look much like Savils hair did. More like Spinal Tap. And Coogan's distinctive bandy gate is nothing like how Savile used to creep about
