The numbers

7 losses in 14. I don’t think even Ole lost this many in his final season by October.

11 goals scored in the PL (outscored by the likes of West Ham and Wolves. Even a Sean Dyche side is just one goal behind us)

16 goals conceded (we’ve conceded more than Forest, Everton and Palace)

5 losses for the England cricket side 😹

£407 million spent on players. Very few of them look like good signings.

It’s time we seriously consider Ten Hags sacking. As for what manager comes in? Well I doubt any of our fans would have wanted Emery or Ange etc when we hired Ten Hag but just look at them now. There must be an equivalent of those managers out there. Either way I doubt any of us can see how Ten Hag stops the rot especially when he can’t get the best out of this squad. We can blame the Glazers and of course they’re to blame for a decent extent but their influence on the training ground only goes so far and right now it seems like Ten Hag has them watching old Laurel and Hardy videos rather than executing actual training drills.

But for Onana we may have lost by 6 this morning.

The rot starts at the top. We currently have owners who don’t care about winning and that 100% filters down to the players.

It looks like he's trying to get sacked to me. Not starting Varane today for tactical reasons? Hahaha.

Reguillon is literally the only left back we had available and he played Lindelof there instead who is an average CB and abysmal fullback.

He's given up. He won't last much longer.

I don’t believe that though. You could say the same for Levy as for years he’s only really cared about just making the CL. Then he finally hires an inspirational manager who is getting more out of his players than he really should be and look at how optimistic the fans are.

The managers job is to get the players to care about winning and if he can’t then he has to go.

Have to agree with this.

It's not defending the Glazers, or sticking up for them, or whatever, to say that the manager has to get better performances out of his players than he's currently doing.

The Glazers aren't some all-powerful supernatural overlords corrupting everyone with their malign presence. As far as I know, they don't make the signings, they don't run the training sessions*, and they don't pick the team.

*Assuming we actually have training sessions

Thank god. Someone else who sees sense.

Sacking him now without the structure above the manager is sorted out will result in more of the same.

It humstrung managers like Ole, Jose and LVG before. 2 of those were big established coaches before United hired them.

You might get sort term boost that doesn't last (i.e Poch at Spurs or new manager bounce ala Spurs right now), but sustainable improvements start at the top.

Give it until Christmas and see where we are at then. Unless or course we just keep on losing. He is really up against it now though. I thought his first season was good and was hopeful he could build on it. But I am.struggling to defend him this season
