Before we get too excited...

Remember how we managed one goal in two games against Slovakia? Have a look at how Armenia did against Slovakia http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ljIEuTNgcI
We need a massive performance from the boys on Tuesday.

Larry you could see there that the main problem was that the Slovaks gave Armenia far, far too much room to play-in just in front of the back four.

Ireland always have that area jam packed.

You give ANY team, even the Faroes space to run at you in there and you are going to haemorrhage goals.

I think we have now kept 8 clean sheets in a row? I think Uruguay were the last side to score against us?

The defence is sound enough. We just need to play the game we have been playing this entire Euro campaign and we will be allright.

I think we will win 2-1 or 2-zip on the night. I will also be in the stands to see it. I was there at the opening of the campaign against Andorra . I will be there to see them finish the group of.

Hopefully we get seeded and draw Estonia for the play-off.

Good points Cinderellaman , if Trapatonni has done anything good for the Irish team its the fact we now have a very mean back 4.
I don't think we would be drawn against Estonia in the play-offs as they aren't seeded unfotunately. Pity because their goalie looks very poor.

I think Trap has enforced this defensive strategy after we leaked 3 at home to Russia and it's clearly worked and I believe will work for us against Armenia tomorrow.

If we maintain our organisation, I don't think we will lose despite their good form.

Before we get excited though... lets remember we will not be seeded for the playoffs and could well end up having to face the likes of Turkey, Portugal and Serbia in the draw.

The most positive playoff draw scenario for us would be Croatia or Czech Republic

Thanks for the comments, lads. As a Dub living in New Zealand, it's not easy to keep up with the team, but at 6.45 tomorrow morning, I'll be glued to the laptop. Come on you boys in green!
