What’s the best away game you went to watching the mighty Spurs. Two that automatically spring to my mind:
AC Milan 0-1 Tottenham
I was fortunate enough to get a ticket with a mate to this one - although we were in the AC end. Crouch shinned one in late on and we went faaacking mental - had to run out of the ground as we were being pelted and ending up in a weird cafe bar full with a few Inter fans who all wanted to take a picture with us to wind up their AC mates.
Ended up on the same plane as Jamie Redknapp, David Pleat and Sean Custis (sun journalist) on the way back - didn’t get to hear Pleat pronounce Chimbonda unfortunately
Aston Villa 1-2 Tottenham
Boxing Day, went with a couple of mates in the Spurs end, we go 1-0 up and Defoe gets sent off. We then spent the next hour playing them off the park with only 10 men and VDV scored the best breakaway goal I’ve ever seen live - the pace of Lennon and Bale absolutely destroying Villa

West Ham 2-3 Spurs - the last minute bale screamer. I was first row right behind the corner the ball went into

Blackburn 1 City 4. The entire weekend was particularly messy.

My memory of Ewood park was it was a schitt ground, unbelievably cold and Shearer scored his 100th goal against us in a 2-0 loss.

Another good one was Leicester away a few years back - Boxing Day again. Kane put us 1-0 up after a minute before a blip equalised. Looked like it might be a draw only for Eriksen to score a cheeky free kick late on for a 2-1 win - love a Boxing Day away win

I wish. Lock-ins and Curries. Tennants Superstrength was definitely involved at some point.

European Cup Winners Cup Final 1963 in Rotterdam. Spurs v Atletico Madrid.
I was 13 and we lived just over the border in Germany at RAF Laarbruch, where my Dad was stationed.
Great atmosphere in the Feyenoord Stadium and we were magnificent running out 5-1 winners with goals from Jimmy Greaves (2) Terry Dyson (2) and the tragic John White, who was killed by lightning just over a year later on a golf course in Enfield.
The football we played from 1960 to 1964 was scintillating and we were the one team who most feared to play.👍

Nice one Genius. Probably the best ever performance by an English side in a European final. No need for a penalty shootout in that final.

I am off to Los Angeles on Tuesday to see my daughter and some of my late Wife’s family.
