FFP impact on Jan Transfer

With the big shadow of FFP hovering on many clubs, and already having cost Everton premier league points, will this Jan transfer window turn lot of team in doing business with loans, and loans with an obligation optons deals
allowing buying clubs with assets to buy later on (diminishing the imapct of FFP by spearding it over multiple windows)

Will we see deals that are like 5 years + just to circumvent FFP?

Already happening I think. Most clubs pay for players over the term of their contract.

yeah but it will now be the one genuine way to bypass FFP. Buy players on instalments over two or more transfer windows. The days of a massive one big chunk transfer fee will be replaced by longer contracts.

FFP rules will be tightened up, so that cheating teams like Chelsea and City will be brought to book.

Everyone has had enough of the cheating financially doped duo.

Every club in the EPL is amortizing the cost of buying there players over the length of their contracts

It would be poor business practice not to considering the limitations on clubs finances.

Essentially it is about moving money around within the clubs economy

I do expect Cfc to sell another 4/5 + over the next two windows and bring in 1/2, this period.

The length of the payment is stipulated by the agreement between the clubs first, pay all the fee now or over x installments.

But that is not the way it translated on the clubs finances/ books.

The club will spread / finance the fee internally through its income over the length of the contract.

Owners can lend their clubs money as a separate arrangement, providing the repayments are made within the reporting periods there is no issue.

Imagine if we’d done some of those 8 year deals for some of our bigger signings😳
Richarlison for 8 years?
Ndombele?

I don’t get what happens if they don’t work out?
If they’re paying 100mil for Mudryk and he flops and they want rid of him, nobody will buy him out of it. They will haemorrhage money!

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Chelsea will be sunk without trace in the next two or three seasons.

Thing with Chelsea is they have taking a good amount in for players. Also a lot in for academy players. The youth players they stock piled under Abramovich has kept their books also afloat. That’s said I can’t see much more spending from them over the next 3 windows.

They sell academy players for 20-30mil. A couple each season?
That’s the pretty much the only income they’ve got.

They’ll get let off because it was before the recent takeover. Cants

Just because it was the previous owners will not come into the equation.

There will also be some serious questions to be asked about how Chelsea was sold off so quickly, without any proper scrutiny. Obviously some brown envelopes in play.

A proper investigation into CFC in the 21st century will no doubt uncover so many financial irregularities.

They are toast if the authorities do what they should have done years back.
