His football heritage rant? Come off it, that was the most stupid fūcking thing I've ever heard - he should been sacked immediately after that.

2nd being his greatest achievement is also not far behind.

I don't know why people do this. It's like with Rangnick being 'right all along' about United needing open heart surgery, as if it made him some sort of Nostradamus. Of course he was right - Stevie facking Wonder could have seen that at the time. There was literally no one who disagreed with him.

It wasn't about what was wrong. It was all very factual - it was just entirely irrelevant and said with the complete intention of deflecting criticism from himself.

I could paraphrase that whole rant into the following sentence: "United haven't won the CL since 2008, so it's not my fault we lost to Sevilla". Inane ramblings of an egomaniac. We should have seen at that very moment that Jose couldn't give one toss about the club and was more interested in saving his own reputation.

Anyone using Jose's comments as some sort of wisdom is losing it. He was the literal anti-thesis of what we needed at the time. And bringing in Lukaku? Fack me. I'll take Rashford and Martial ahead of him. Btw Lukaku was sheite a lot longer than Martial and Rashford appear to look like it.

No they haven't. He just has this weird cult following on social media which means he could fart into a microphone and have thousands of people saying 'JoSe WaS RiGhT AlL AlOnG bRo'

I'm pretty sure he was close to a complete mental breakdown by the end of his time at United, and routinely came out with some absolute drivel - not least some of the stuff you've cited in your OP.
