Why is it the acid test? We know we are nowhere near ready to compete with the best. When we find consistency then we aim for the top and compare against the best teams.

One thing for sure, our away form has to improve.

Indeed, the only decent side we’ve faced recently was Newcastle who dominated us. Been pretty lucky with fixtures recently. Pool will be a proper test

And then went and got beat 3-0 at Everton who we had beaten 3-0 the week before.

You can’t ever base anything on one game, this season in particular.
