I know Leicester are famous for having a red cheese but that equaliser was ridiculously lucky. Cheesy ****ers

What do you think about the one that took the lead or should that be leed
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Do I detect attempted humour in that comment … ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A poor attempt granted, but in time honoured tradition, he started it

Btw, happy to repeat a comment I left on a previous thread on your site … I think the rest of us are playing for 2nd place👍

If Leicester and Ipswich keep going like this, we won't go up, simples, we are dreadful at playoffs

Past means nothing, different players, different team.

Life and football doesnt work that way

There's still 25 games to go - anything can still happen and football being football, probably will.

We're still in with a good shout at autos.

finally a sensible comment.

before Sunderland game people really positive, best squad in the league, we're going up. Lose first game in 12 is it?, people talking how we need to sign players. madness, nothings changed, how many years of football do you need to watch to realise that teams aren't bad over night, frustrating games happen.

Come on now this team (Leeds) were very bad overnight, frustrating I’ll say it was!
I’m not sure they’re a very young team, they played like old men, pensioners on a day trip to Sunderland.
Not much brio (vigorous offensive erectile movement), more like someone put bromide in the drinks (no erections at all).
Faffing about with possession football in their own penalty box….me to you, you to me, me to you, back to goalie, me to you, you to me…then rinse….me to you, you to me, back to goalie…rinse again!
This tactic is called “transition”…when I played for the Sunday League team Squinting Cat…the coach, who was a club turn, just shouted at his defenders “get rid”
he didn’t know what transition meant.
I’ve played at Elland Road in the 1963 Hunslet-Holbeck Working Men’s Club Trophy and we beat the Kock and Krumpet 1 - 0…and our tactic of getting rid of the ball worked wonders!

Oh yes whatever happened to the Kock and Krumpet???
I miss those halcyon days when men were men and so were the women.

Brian Glover-esque recollections aside I think the Sunderland defeat was a bit of a wake up call that we're no way near good enough to coast this league and we need to be more pragmatic in some games and not try and play like Brazil all the time.

Just lump it forward like the Rutter goal against Swansea which was a work of effective simplicity but beautifully executed that Howard Wilkinson would have been very proud.

I heard there is a bit a a flu type bug in the squad. That might be one reason why we just weren’t on it fully.

However we have struggled at times this season when teams put 11 behind the ball and hit us on the break. Sunderland defended well and did a job on us.

Rutter looks a bit out of sorts and keeps holding that hip. He would have have been “outed” in the 70’s😏

Seriously though - he needs to save the tricks and flicks for when we 3 up.

No panic from me. 10 points is nothing with 3 points a win, both to come to us and both to play each other twice.

On to Saturday.

yeah definitely not panic time, not even at the half way point yet.
