No, just wanted to give a little shout out to this guy. He was in a really bad place a little while back and had been in tears over his form for club and country. Then had to have surgery.
I thought he looked really lively yesterday. Took his goal really well (wouldn't have scored that a while back) and also played a couple of excellent passes to create opportunities.
Seemed to work pretty hard. I've probably got this wrong, but his disciplinary record seems very good lately too.
Well done Richi, and I hope the rumours of you maybe going to Saudi aren't true. Best of luck for 2024.

We can, and need to, do better. A few goals doesn’t change that. He’s always been a streaky player so wouldn’t surprise if the goals dry up for a while at some point - and I don’t think he contributes enough off the ball.
Probably a pipe dream at this point but we should be aiming for the quality of Martinez, Wirtz and Watkins.
Maybe Gudmundsson at Genoa? Zirkzee at Bologna? Ferguson at Brighton?
… and then there is Toney…

His towering header goal is a great example of timing and jumping!
This succession of goals in consecutive games should do a world of good n front of the goal!
I thought Skipp had his best game for us yesterday!
But by God, Emerson and Dier are worst players i have seen!??
Please get another CB and a playmaker which is hard to get in Jan!

In fairness to Emerson he isn't a centre back. Harsh (and imo unfair) to judge him on performances where he's filling in an emergency.

He's starting to justify his price tag a little more now which is great. Still probably not a first team player going forward but a good squad player, which is what I thought when we first signed him.

if you take away penalties he overtakes Wilson and Salah (by a hair) too
