Does a one week break really help the players - I’m not convinced.

Get rid of International friendlies and cut World Cup/Euro qualifying down to say 6 games - that would be much better

It's a good thing regardless with Mo and Endo away on tournaments

January is really quiet if you’re not in the league cup semis. Think some teams only have two matches this whole month.

Helps us regarding injuries, when we come back we may have the likes of Robertson and Thiago added to the recent returns of Maca and Jota...that is so huge for us heading into the 2nd part of the season.

it's a weeks holidays for some players

as in the can actually go for a sun holiday if they like.

a weeks training then back to games.

for.others however there's semi finals to think about.
